There is an increasing demand for a shared physical and digital test environment to support research, innovation, and application within the marine domain. Development in this field requires both technical infrastructure and operational expertise in ocean-based settings.
The testbed is being developed as part of Innovation Labs BTH, with a dedicated systems engineer responsible for operations. It includes:
– Software-based communication systems
– Hardware-based communication systems
– Organization and development of a fleet of marine vehicles and sensors
The testbed provides a living lab where new methods can be evaluated, systems can be integrated, and education can be conducted under realistic conditions.
